Snails

Post by Im_not_Robbie_Blake » Mon Jul 15, 2024 1:14 pm

Why do they climb up the walls of our house? The most recent one reached the top of a bedroom window.

Are they burglars?

I have a racing snail. I tried to make it faster by removing the shell, but it's made it sluggish!

Algae is the answer.

They're eating it off the surface of your house.

Little bit of beer in an empty butter tub. They love it.

Yuueeecckkhh.

That's gross.

You need to gently boil them first.

I have a blackberry bush and the snails are in awe of one or two fallen berries. They devour them and seem to be in an hypnotic state. Almost as if they have found Acapulco Gold.

The juices ferment and create alcohol. Under our Damson tree I've seen wasps flying in circles on their backs because they couldn't take off.

Last year there was a knock on my door. I answered it to find a snail on the doorstep, so I picked it up and threw it over next doors fence.
Yesterday I heard another knock on my door - I opened it and the snail on my doorstep said “what did you do that for???”
