Walker only England player to make the cut. Can’t argue much with any of the X1.

Funny how we see it differently. I thought Walker was dreadful.

I thought our best player was Guehi and secondly John Stones.

I was hoping Southgate would of been brave enough to pick Wharton think he would of got us playing more progressively and quicker in my humble opinion.

Walker was really poor throughout the tournament. His ability on the ball is at times laughable. Southgate had an absolute fixation with having him on the pitch at all times.
I'd have been much more inclined to move Trippier over to right back when Shaw came back.
He offers a much better balance between attacking and defending than any other right back we had available.

Amazed Walker is in there - didn't think he had a good tournament at all

Walker was awful, probably our worst player. Could barely make a 5 yard pass and was out of position time and time again, including twice in the final.

I generally like Walker, he usually defends pretty well and gets forward to good effect without being gung-ho. I don't, though, think he did himself justice in this tournament and amazed he's been nominated in this team.
