Surely this is going to start putting them in trouble if they haven’t got a replacement lined up behind the scenes?

They should have gone into administration long ago.

I would love it if Everton,s first season in their brand new shiny stadium ended in relegation the season after next... over the last few seasons I've really grown to dislike them immensely .

Anyone that has followed the Everton finance saga through the FT won’t be surprised, there has already been 3 concrete offers from groups of investors who have had concrete offers excepted from the club. They then get to see the books & boom it’s toxic & huge black hole, talk of 400m to be paid to other lenders on top of the new ground & sale price. Also rumours of fraud investigation into the Russian investor who was at Arsenal won’t go away.

Administration.
Then someone takes it over for 7 & 6 pence.
Seven and Sixpence? Would it be worth it?
