Lancashire’s top run scorer today v Derbyshire

Post by jdrobbo » Wed Jul 31, 2024 5:24 pm

All out for a pathetic 99

I can’t even blame The Hundred franchise nonsense for this diabolical performance, even though two thirds of our team are unavailable for selection.

Anyway… 99 scored and the top scorer:

EXTRAS 19

That just about says it all. Dale Benkenstein, I’ve already seen enough!

even though its an appalling result i think people need to have a bit of reality. we have 3 under 19s in the team (including a 16 year old) we have 11 players currently out either with England or the Hundred and we also a few more very young players playing albeit with a bit more experience. it is a good time to try and blend them in and give them experience.

Terrible Result . i Had a very good view today. with the amount of movement Derbyshire bowlers seemed to be getting. and Derby supporters saying they where very poor batting ... There was hope we could do something with the Ball too.
Alas the result says it all. very dissapointing .
Being a Gluton for punishment i am doing all three Somerset. Friday and Hampshire Sunday.
At least the Ale and Pubs in Derby ate as good. as in past visits..
Every Cloud as a Silver lining.

Our fixture at Tauntom coincides with a Real ale and Cyder Festival .... At the Ground...

I think Glen Chapple should be reinstated, massive mistake getting rid.

I'm looking forward to him coming home and putting you boys in your place.

He will certainly be motivated with the disgraceful treatment he received.

Can't have too much sympathy though, he's a Liverpool fan.

Will definitely be someone else's fault then!
