Re: Parker pre-match press conference v Cardiff
Seems to say that at this moment in time, there's nothing to suggest players are leaving.
The weekend comes too soon for Berge who has been struggling with a quad injury, with no hint that anything is close to being agreed with him leaving.
Ronaldinho junior apparently hasn't yet signed but there's a possibility for the development squad and nothing imminent for first team.

How did nobody ask about Weghorst?

He has been asked in another interview,Parker said that he worked with him one week and is an outstanding professional, also it remains to be seen if he will stay or leave.
Whenever I say or think of Parker I visualise the Thunderbird puppet

I also took from the press conference that he seemed pretty relaxed about players leaving and that nothing was in the pipeline at this moment in time.

Another good presser from Parker. Seems to be a good man manager from the way he talks. I think he’s expecting a few to leave due to his answer about incomings.

It’s funny when reporters ask him if he thinks there will be outgoings, we have 34 players and need to get it down to 25, there’s obviously going to be people that leave even if it’s just on loan again

I'm sure he wouldn't talk about possible outgoings until the ink was dry on the sale/loan contract anyhow. Reporters just want to trip managers up, it seems.

He certainly didn't make it sound like someone was about to be sold in the next few days, but loans will likely happen closer to the window closing as other clubs need to plug a few gaps in their squad.

If as O Shea states , having Parker as manager is like a breath of fresh air (and according to him echoed by his team mates), for me the press conferences are that too now. No more arrogance, bullshitting, and sticking to the questions and providing transparency. Its a great step forward

Not too sure, but with what’s transpired, it’s perhaps fair to suggest it was more of a ‘meant to be in work after the Xmas do’ illness rather than full on flu or something.
