Jay's experience and quality got us that.
Watch him take his time instead of just firing it into the area.

Cardiff keeper and defence are utter bobbins.

Buxton, are you listening to the Audio commentary or watching the video? I'm in the UK and can't seem to access the audio... all i get is a link to the video, which is only available outside the UK.

Not really functioning in midfield. They are abject at the back. Keeper a proper clown.

Re: Burnley v Cardiff
For those watching the game, will know this is a fluke scoreline. We can't be this lucky in all games. Benson I think would do well here.
Re: Burnley v Cardiff
Parker just needs to make sure the above doesn't go to their heads and the pedals continue to be pressed to the floor.Newcastleclaret93 wrote: ↑Sat Aug 17, 2024 3:32 pmWe have the individual quality even when playing bad to beat these teams.
We are quicker, stronger and bigger

Crucial for the lad's confidence. He's got so much pace and talent that if he can harness some of it he'll be some player.

Aged well.
Re: Burnley v Cardiff
They are closing us down with two or three men every time we get the ball. Hope they start to tire second half with the effort they are putting in.

I put t up on the Stream thread. Working fine so far. Virtually no lag
Re: Burnley v Cardiff
Sure, there is luck involved, bt Kolo still needed to finish and JayRod still needs to beat his man.claretskeith wrote: ↑Sat Aug 17, 2024 3:34 pmFor those watching the game, will know this is a fluke scoreline. We can't be this lucky in all games. Benson I think would do well here.
I agree that Benson or Amdouni would fit better in this game.

Re: Burnley v Cardiff
1-1 would be a fair HT score. Cardiff have been knocking at the door and plenty of gaps in our defence which needs plugging. Little composure at times and we saw that last season. There keeper had a shocker. But...
If you can play badly and still lead/win games then that's all that matters.

Kanga upfront for them looks dangerous - made some clever runs and is really athletic.
They are rank bad at the back though. Laughably bad.

I'll gladly accept the lead.
Think we're lucky to be ahead. Perhaps Cardiff been slighltly the better.
