Esteve, Brownhill, Rodriguez, Roberts, Vitinho, Pires, Foster all started last week and Trafford was ill.
The ones missing from the starting 11 are O'Shea (off?), Cullen (injured?) and Koleosho (injiured?)

Very true
I’m not convinced it’s a top six side, but hopefully additions to come in.claretskeith wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 2:07 pmIt's a top 6 side. We just need to get lucky with the playoffs.

Maybe, lol. Although he did say Vitinho was refusing to play, as well.Devils_Advocate wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 2:10 pmJoe Worrall's signed up to the messageboard and is leaking the team news already!!
Is this the team for Wolves

He had a good spell at Hibs, and was highly rated at Man City. Time for him to step up.williamjblazkowicz wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 2:11 pmHow do we not have better than Egan-Riley? That's a worrying sign to me. Where has the guy been last couple of seasons?

Yeah, I’m an idiot. I forgot Rodriguez started last week and managed to miscount on two hands.
That is absolutely not a top six side!!claretskeith wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 2:07 pmIt's a top 6 side. We just need to get lucky with the playoffs.
Don't worry, they're back at school next week.
The difference between the Prem and the Championship is about the same as the Championship and League One.
I think there's a few more posts like this missing billboatshed bill wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 2:15 pmHe had a good spell at Hibs, and was highly rated at Man City. Time for him to step up.
Whatever may transpire this is a great opportunity, and experience, for our younger players.
Couple of years? More like couple of weeks.
Yes, was just saying to my Dad that to be fair to him he's only 21. Thought he was older for some reason - feels like he's been with us for ages. A lot has happened in the last couple of seasons though!boatshed bill wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 2:15 pmHe had a good spell at Hibs, and was highly rated at Man City. Time for him to step up.

We do have better, but he's obviously not fit enough or clued up enough yet having signed what - yesterday?williamjblazkowicz wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 2:11 pmHow do we not have better than Egan-Riley? That's a worrying sign to me. Where has the guy been last couple of seasons?

You surely are basing that on last season and not the one home game we won 5-0. For me there's no excuse for the rubbish I'm reading on this match day thread . Thinking about it, every match day thread while games are tight
The drama queenery is more fun but I suppose I can reserve judgement until after the window. Still, the changes have taken me by surprise. There are just so many of them. Can't wait until the window closes in all honesty. Not often I say that!Pickles wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 2:21 pmWe do have better, but he's obviously not fit enough or clued up enough yet having signed what - yesterday?
O'Shea wants to leave. It's football, it happens to every club.
Has it all happened at once for Burnley this summer? Yeah, a bit. But you only need to have followed football for about fifteen minutes to know the transfer window doesn't get busy until the last week or so.
If the side hasn't been invested in to replace outgoings in a week or so's time, then yeah - we can criticise a bit more then. But there's every evidence to suggest ALK/Pace will want to boost the squad.
But anyway, back to the drama queenery...
Agreed.clarethomer wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 2:25 pmBench looks light but will people stop with this bed wetting please…
Watching the standard of the league from games I have seen so far, this starting 11 should be able to hold its own.
My take on how we will set up.
