Will Pace be there
Saturday
Re: Will Pace be there
I imagine he'll be there clutching his wife's hand and squeaking afterwards in the boardroom about the fans being mean to him.

He’ll be there with his drum. Giggling like a little school girl
Re: Will Pace be there
He will be pensive and alone in his world.
Re: Will Pace be there
If we have any more outgoings, with a lack of quality incomings AND a tubbing off Venkys, he’s in for a rough afternoon.

He will get an atmosphere if we get beat by them lot on Saturday that’s for sure. Won’t be the one he desires though. Not sure what he expects to happen when you sell the tools required to have a successful season. Then leave us with a mish mash bunch to pick from in a tough away game

Re: Will Pace be there
It's possible we lose, its a game of football. The team that lines up against them will determine whether he gets pelted or not if we do get beat. Get 2 or 3 signings through the door, keep Amdouni, Esteve, Brownhill etc and it'll be gutting but he won't get blamed too much. If we see another 2 or 3 first team players out the door and we start with an 11 like we did today or worse...eeeek.Hedontplayforyou wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 8:07 pmHe will get an atmosphere if we get beat by them lot on Saturday that’s for sure. Re: Will Pace be there
I want him to make a statement ASAP. Or if he doesn't, I want Parker to let us know what the position is.
For one thing, is Pace selling because the club is so skint that the only way to survive is to sell everyone?
Second, has Pace any intention of taking more cash out of the club? Is that why he is selling anyone and everyone?
Third, what was Parker told about potential sales when he joined the club?

Be funny watching him walk into the fan zone if we lose to Blackburn.
He has a good kinda love in so far. Might not get the reception when we lose next weekend

He'll be there moaning why shirt sales are down even with a sponsorless option. Ignoring the fact the prices went up along with ticket prices.
I always thought it was more than just a business for Pace, but recent times make me think that's just how it is for him.

Re: Will Pace be there
I got called a, made me laugh, rude name in the first response to my initial post.
It was removed
I can confirm that I’ve washed it and put cream on it.
It was obvious that my opening post was taken as an incitement to target Pace.
To give some context in the minutes leading up to me posting several posters were speculating on the possible further players sales this coming week and what the team may be for Blackburn leading to a certain result leading to a hostile reaction, which actually normally would be a strong statement but I though could actually in this case be an understatement.
From a direct message I received on the subject, I thought I wonder if he’ll actually be there.
Firstly thinking that could be an indicator to what the owners are currently planning, if for example it was to be come obvious in this week that it was a sell everything policy and maybe even the start of some sort of exit strategy.
So posted the question as a genuine question.
Like many or most I’m absolutely deeply emotionally affected by this, it’s been the one and the only constant in my life for 50 plus years
I do currently go to bed thinking about it and wake up thinking about it.
Though, I haven’t wet the bed, yet,

Far from it for me to tell anyone what to do, I'm not sure the forum can afford to be associated with this kind of comment.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Sat Aug 24, 2024 9:30 pmIf we get beat next week, somebody will drop kick him over the Culvert.

Re: Will Pace be there
I just think we need to wait and see.
We were massively underfunded for years under MG. Pace to his credit wanted to fix this. VK has been allowed to let the club go too far the other way and we’re just seeing the headache its caused 12 months down the line, when players signed are realising:
We are no longer in the prem
We no longer have the manager they signed for
They havent had the game time they expected
Unfortunately for us, the pendulum swung too far to one side, and now its gone too far the other way.
Much of this is masked when we’re tonking sides with 9 goals in 2 games and its looking like we’re going to storm the championship in record time.
People are rightly concerned about the next swing; which could sadly involve some panic buys after what has looked like a firesale when you consider the speed we’ve shipped these players out.
Hopefully Pace has got good people around him with the best interests of the club at heart that advise him well.
We need to get back to building slow and steady and then maybe, like other relegated clubs, we dont have to sell the family jewels.
Im firmly in the camp of waiting till the windows finished before I make any more opinions on the matter.

100% I’m judging when the window closes but I’ve been concerned ever since the takeover with the debt and the fact the club has financed everything allowing ALK to spend and make money for themselves. The current predicament we are in has made it appear my concerns were more real than the majority who have been dismissing the concerns I and others have raised throughout believe.Notsosuperstevedavis wrote: ↑Sun Aug 25, 2024 12:07 pmI just think we need to wait and see.

Sales so far have mainly been our best players. Buys so far have been uninspiring at best. That’s why I am expecting more of the same this week. I truly feel sorry for Scott Parker and he was not my preferred choice
