It’s a joke , supporters thinking a professional football could actually control a football, whatever next , a goalie being able to catch .Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 3:47 amI think some people expect a young lad we signed for 4 million Euros who is 25 minutes into his brand new life and playing out of position to be as good as Mo Salah (who was useless when he was younger) - if he was superb at everything he wouldn't be playing for us in the Championship

Not in the q&a he had with someone, referred to the whole story and said he’s told it’s not happening, but also that he expects a very busy day today here (obv).123EasyasBFC wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 6:51 amI wonder if Nixon is referring to the loan offer being nonsense, not the actual fact we have bid

I just hope it’s not back to the dyche and garlick days where we have links and it looks like we are trying to sign players and then we end up with just the 2 we know about and leave the window feeling light in positions

For a club that's supposed to be interested in all these signings we don't half go about it the wrong way when it comes down to the crunch.

Surely there’s got to be at least one marquee signing this window.123EasyasBFC wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 7:09 amI just hope it’s not back to the dyche and garlick days where we have links and it looks like we are trying to sign players and then we end up with just the 2 we know about and leave the window feeling light in positions

Bournemouth have also got Kepa in, so even if Neto goes to Arsenal, Travers position in the pecking order would be the same as two days ago.123EasyasBFC wrote: ↑Thu Aug 29, 2024 11:53 pmI’m worried about travers now because arsenal are in for Neto at Bournemouth so they might not let travers leave, then if Trafford goes we need to find a keeper somewhere

But if Neto goes to Arsenal, travers would only be a kepa injury away from being Bournemouths number 1burnleytom wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 7:19 amBournemouth have also got Kepa in, so even if Neto goes to Arsenal, Travers position in the pecking order would be the same as two days ago.

And the first half on Tuesday he did very little wide right. Second half he moved in off his line and he was excellent.BigBadBarnes wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 7:33 amSarmiento has only played from the right 6 times in his career. He’s a respectable journalist who is usually correct in the past for us? However, he’s just stating the obvious here that we’re submitting a new bid. Nothing to say it’s being accepted or even considered.Guller Bull wrote: ↑Fri Aug 30, 2024 7:55 amIs there anything new in this. Saying Whittaker is happening

Would he go as far as to write that article if there was nothing in it? Far easier to post a throw away tweet.
Re: Summer 2024 Transfer Window Discussion - Rumours and Links welcome
I might be wrong but I can't see teams like Millwall and Plymouth agreeing to loan first team players with an obligation to buy.

Fee agreed for Trafford according to a few sources. 20million. I'm happy just to get our money back on him.

In Flemmings case, I believe his contract is up at the end of the season.
Loan with an obligation to buy may be better then him walking for nothing now that they both know he can make an upwards step.
We're bending them over a barrel a little bit actually, I actually think it's a good tactic.

Think we were linked with Oban when VK was here. Looks like he hasn't been able to continue his incredible scoring record since moving to France.
Think we'll see a lot of ITK accounts on Twitter throwing different names around for clubs like ours.

Much prefer Whittaker to Oban . Knows the division scores goals. We don’t need an experiment at this stage.

We need a striker … Foster not impressed. Houdini untried …Jay a brilliant servant to Burnley but sadly a step too far now.
