To be fair it wasn't just a bad performance, some of it was pretty alarming. He showed a basic lack of technique and an inaility to handle pressure which I've not seen to that extent for some time.
It was one of those performances where a player looks so out of his depth you feel sorry for them, think Dane Richards, Nimani levels.

I'm not really judging. I'm saying what i saw. He might be excellent and have a really good career in future but my post on here isn't going to have much effect on that.

I agree with all you say. I'm just puzzled why we sold McNally. He looked capable enough in our team and for others at this level. I'm sure Egan is better when he is on top of his game and of course more experienced.

McNally was still to start a league game for us. He didn’t really look to be in Parker’s plans any more than he did Kompany’s. Best all round that he moved on, more so for him.
