Ive been called stupid / ignorant. If this board allows that .. well. Best luck with it.
I didn’t call you anything as stated above. As it seems you have taken it this way I apologise wholeheartedly.

Big updates from Parker today, much more open than VK which I welcome, the below is pretty much exactly what was said I think:
- Sambo was to go out on loan but is now around it and on the squad list
- Roberts may have come off in time for Leeds, we will see
- Benson has done a calf / achilles and it will be weeks or even months
- Tresor is fit and doing individual work to get match fit after his bad unfortunate illness back in Belgium
- Agyei is back on the grass
- Beyer has had a really challenging time but will come out of it a better player and person
- Esteve seems ok
- The new guys like helicopter man are all fit
Thank you for taking the time to summarise. Surprised and delighted at the Esteve one.

SP also said he didn't do social media, but it was a reality in today's era, and if Jordan Beyer had chosen to connect with the fans to talk about his injury, then that was fine by him.

Touch and go on Cullen who has been back”on the grass” the last few days but will be assessed tomorrow whether he is available for Leeds or not. All in all a very clear summary of exactly where we are which with the exception of Benny’s injury all sounds pretty promising. Good luck trying to guess the starting eleven!

I missed the press conference today so thanks for the summary CrosspoolClarets.
We don’t ask for any detail on injuries, just basic info. It’s refreshing to get that information from Parker.

SP is much more open than VK, gives full commentary on individual player’s injuries, much more interesting press conferences.

This can't be right. I read multiple medical experts proclaiming that he wasn't injured at all and just a bit soft.
Also, on Cullen
“We need to work out if this weekend comes a bit too early for him,” Parker conceded. “But he’s trained with us for two or three days and we’ll make a call probably tomorrow on that.”

Also said about Egan - "He has been promoted twice from this league, he knows what it takes and what is needed and can be there to help the younger lads around him such as CJ, Maxime, Bashir, Lucas and Shurandy."
So does that mean Sambo might not be going anywhere?

Interesting he mentions all players by first names except Tresor (he says, maybe reading too much into things....)

Sambo has been added to the 25 man squad I believe

Shows the comments on here about Benson were an absolute joke. He was quite clearly badly injured because he couldn't bear any weight on the injured side but we had people on here suggesting he was faking it.
Unfortunately with the way he plays, in terms of holding onto the ball to attract the opposition to dive in, he ends up spending most of his time getting clattered.
It should be clamped down on but people are too worried about the game going soft. It ends up encouraging the cloggers, whilst the genuinely talented players that people want to watch get long term injuries so we end up missing out.

Yep, this is all people want/need to know.
Never understood why asking for these kind of updates on the squad set some people off arguing about releasing private medical records and the like

While im very sorry to hear Benson is out for the forseeable future this surely is the end of his Burnley career.

I thought he was excellent in sharing information, without giving too much away for Saturday.
Excellent stuff.
Good to have a general idea where players are at.
Also mentioned Redmond was on the grass.

Thats a brilliant update and so transparent and informative. Some of us were getting pelters during VK's time with us,from other posters stating injuries were classified as personal data and we had no right to know what individual players were struggling with injury wise.Well done Scotty-there is starting to be a proper connection now between fans and the team

Quite literally the stupidest/most ignorant comment seen since the transfer thread.
Bold statement. MI5 and CIA are currently ploughing through thousands of posts to see whether that is indeed the case.

Dyche was the worst at giving injury updates, yet people seem to forget that and think it was only Kompany not saying much
No agenda though.

I suspect he's a long, long way away yet but what a big step for him to get back to doing some training with the squad.

Must be down to managers, as said previously, Dyche was the worst at giving out ant accurate updates
