It's so hard to play GK for a team that is constantly running backwards towards its own goal, that was why there was clamour for Muric last season.

If our tactics had been a little bit more sensible and allowed him to play his natural game then I'm sure there'd have been more support.

Traff deserves credit for his resilience and not letting last season derail him. Seen it happen countless times to youngsters that are hung out to dry.

I’ve been critical of him, but he seems to be playing with a lot more clarity this season. Being allowed to kick it long and take some pressure off probably helps.

Few decent saves today - thought the one that he tipped over was the pick. Showed some physical presence too at the end with that claim.

Jesus!! Just give the guy a break. Clearly, he wasn’t great last season, and he more than likely knows it himself. Was it his fault alone that we went down? Obviously not, so it’s a clean slate/fresh start for everyone, so when we’ve just won another tough away fixture, give credit where it’s due. He was our MOM - so well done James, onwards and hopefully upwards. Less of the negative comments when he’s just put in a performance like that. The clean catch at the end, the fingertip over the bar 2nd half, but most importantly the early save from the 1v1, were certainly 3 major events in our win. UTC.

It appears that Aro Muric also had a MoM performance: Player of the match A. Murić Average rating 8.45.

When Burnley played Brighton at the Amex last season the result was 1-1. James Trafford had an excellent game.

Really pleased for Traffs today.

Yes his kicking/distribution could be better but that's something I'm sure the coaches will be working on and will improve.

Some top class saves and the way he claimed that cross under pressure shows how much he has grown in confidence despite being totally hung out to dry by the previous manager last season.

Man of the match today, easily. That early chance Leeds had today was classed as missing a sitter. On getting home and looking at it, Trafford had it covered and didn’t really give him anything to shoot at. Excellent game, well done James.
