One of the best ones I saw not long ago was on the official site when, after a tough first half, they suggested the half time break had given us some rest bite.

"Rest bite" probably wouldn't have been a 'typo', the person who wrote it could have thought it correct.

A few years ago we were playing an U21 game at Stockport against Sunderland and the club put the team out on Twitter. It wasn't a typo, more predictive texting on a phone, but Arlen Birch became Arlen Bitch.
