Re: Match Thread - Hull v Burnley 7.45pm KO
Please could someone cast doubt on whether or not we'll see Mike Tresor again?
Haven't heard anyone mention that in the past 5 minutes, cheers.

Really can’t get used to inverted full backs. One should be overlapping and wider at least.

This is absolutely terrible. We don’t look
Confident enough to pass the ball in the middle of the park. Nobody is taking responsibility on the ball. Just giving it away for 20 mins.

It showed brownhill before kick off and you could lip read him saying to everyone ‘no mistakes’ looks like nobody listened at all

Hull look pretty toothless, but our passing, in Hull’s half especially, has been awful.
Re: Match Thread - Hull v Burnley 7.45pm KO
Final ball awful and do we know those in stripes are the opposition?

Re: Match Thread - Hull v Burnley 7.45pm KO
Can someone explain why it is better for a GK to pass around, usually into danger and have a defender belt the ball to an oppo player instead of just taking a long kick himself?

It’s the same as always, the slower we play the sloppier we play. Some of our passing is beyond abysmal.

Re: Match Thread - Hull v Burnley 7.45pm KO
Why are we forcing it constantly, just get the ball and settle down for 2 mins

Re: Match Thread - Hull v Burnley 7.45pm KO
Similar to Saturday on some ways in that the threat is with the home side and we look a bit toothless. Needs some leadership on the pitch
Re: Match Thread - Hull v Burnley 7.45pm KO
Giving Hull unnecessary confidence with our dreadful sloppy play. Need to get hold of the game now and cut the silly errors.

Re: Match Thread - Hull v Burnley 7.45pm KO
It isn’t. That ball to Cullen, with a man on his back is pointless and dangerous. He always plays it to one of the FBs, who are free anyway. Cut out the middle man FFS and keep it simple.tarkys_ears wrote: ↑Wed Oct 23, 2024 8:13 pmCan someone explain why it is better for a GK to pass around, usually into danger and have a defender belt the ball to an oppo player instead of just taking a long kick himself?
Re: Match Thread - Hull v Burnley 7.45pm KO
I really struggle watching this Burnley team. I’ll give Scott Parker his due he is winning games but it’s painful to watch us and extremely defensive, more so than Dyche in the Championship
Re: Match Thread - Hull v Burnley 7.45pm KO
We're not even given ZF the opportunity to hold the ball up. The service into him has being utterly reprehensible.
Re: Match Thread - Hull v Burnley 7.45pm KO
For god sake lads it’s not going to be an easy game. We are away from home against a team who narrowly lost at home to top of the table Sunderland

Shot Brownhill. Half blocked. Keeper takes
Re: Match Thread - Hull v Burnley 7.45pm KO
Hull trying to play out is a gift to opposition!
Re: Match Thread - Hull v Burnley 7.45pm KO
Poor from Esteve
Re: Match Thread - Hull v Burnley 7.45pm KO
That was Esteves fault before anyone gets on Traffs case.

Re: Match Thread - Hull v Burnley 7.45pm KO
The problem lies with the wingbacks coming inside time and time again
