Rehan getting a quick 3. Looks a tidy bowler I’ve not seen him before

In a bit of trouble now . Smith's dropped catches are costing us in this series , should he just be in for his batting instead of Pope ?

Continuation of the problems we’ve seen previously in Asia. It’s incredibly tough to keep wicket.

Personally I’d always go with the best wicket keeper but can see why England’s current management want the more dynamic batter in the system.

This has been a disastrous session and could finish the series.

Pakistan finally all out for 344. Sometimes you just have to accept that the opposition are allowed to play well. And, since lunch, Pakistan have been excellent. Tough hour coming up for England.

England 20-3. Pope out for 1. His time is up I think.

Disastrous tour for Pope. Averages 11.

I’m not sure what they do with him. He had a good test against WI where I think he got 150 and then another 50. Since then he’s gone

Thing is they've made him vice captain now. If he were from Durham instead of Surrey i don't think he'd have had the same chances given his record.

Small margins as Dyche would say. England take their chances yesterday and could easily and probably would be setting a target of 200 plus.

However they didn’t and the reaction with the bat was really really poor again.

Interesting juxtaposition with Burnley at the moment, one with a dull approach getting the right results, one with an attacking approach and, if the Test Championship standings are anything to go by, one not.

We've been awful against their spin.
Pakistan have just outplayed us, the last two tests.

If the way Pakistan prepared the pitches for this series benefits Pakistan Test Cricket, then it’s a hit we can take.
