Re: Match thread and team
Pretty much the team Id have gone but Id have played Pires instead of Hountondji to give us some extra creativity
Re: Match thread and team
Hout in for Flemming,Sambo on bench.Just a small silly question, what has happened to Worrell, supposedly out for 4 weeks and like so many, now nowhere to be seen.

Re: Match thread and team
Not missed Worrall, E-R has been better than good.
Team I expected. I’d start Pires in a home game but Humphries is better defending.
Hoping Anthony and Koleosho can get some feed to Hountondji.

No Massengo on the bench.
Will he be the latest one to go missing for months on end?

Re: Match thread and team
So is Massengo injured?... And why on earth do we need 3 fullbacks on the bench?... I'm guessing Sambo is there to cover on the wing as well, as he did early in the pre-season/season which tells you a lot about how good our window was!

Re: Match thread and team
Houtondji could be a good un, better than Foster.
Re: Match thread and team
The one tiny hope I have for him is that he scored for his country and he talks well in interviews... He seems like a decent bloke... Mind you, that could be said of strikers in the 2nd division!Barden Lane wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2024 2:18 pm

Would this team of unavailable/unselected players beat this current XI?

Benson Ramsey Massengo Redmond

Re: Match thread and team
Burnley's transfer windows have gone from one extreme to another. You cannot do so much business especially right at the end of window. This project/process is not sustainable and doesn't provide stability, then there's the team of injured players.

It certainly wouldn't be a one way game. I guess Tresor goes in the third string!fidelcastro wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2024 2:29 pmWould this team of unavailable/unselected players beat this current XI?

Re: Match thread and team
Makes much more sense to give the lad a decent amount of time rather than a few minutes here & there, hopefully he gets some confidence and rams the negativity back down throats of our loyal fan base 🫣............. absolutely NOTHING like backing the poor sod from a few on here FFS! Or do we put out faith in an old boy who unfortunately seems to be very much on the decline legs wise.

Re: Match thread and team
It looked like Hountondj was in a good position to burst the net at Hull when Anthony had his miskick at the end, so he must have some idea of where to be in the area.

Re: Match thread and team
Appreciate your comment, and agree with what you say re Jay, BUT, I just fail to see what Hountondji offers us. I will be one of the first to hold up my hands if I’m proved wrong, but the fella has “poor signing” written all over him. IMHO.louieollie wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2024 2:32 pmMakes much more sense to give the lad a decent amount of time rather than a few minutes here & there, hopefully he gets some confidence and rams the negativity back down throats of our loyal fan base 🫣............. absolutely NOTHING like backing the poor sod from a few on here FFS! If you can determine if soneone is a good signing before they start a game in their actual position, fair play.Claretitus wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2024 2:40 pmAppreciate your comment, and agree with what you say re Jay, BUT, I just fail to see what Hountondji offers us.
