When you watch players like Erling Haaland they are on a totally different level. Anticipation and timing are unbelievable. If we only had a modern day Andy Payton.

For the fast few weeks on the hooky fire stick Burnley channel hasn't had any Phil Bird which has been a welcome break to be honest. Is it just me or is anyone else?

Probably the first and only time you'll hear Andy Payton and Erling Harland mentioned in the same breath

They've all been poor efforts so far but it certainly looks like the players have been encouraged to shoot

We are struggling with simple passes. So frustrating.

So far this game has proved Sarmiento isn't a No10 and Flemming isn't a No9.
I'd love to see Flemming playing behind Jay or Houtondji for a prolonged period of time.

Drives me nuts with Anthony. He's great until he has to make a pass. It's as if his effort ends when he realizes he has to give up the ball.

Is that 300 minutes without a goal? injury time and terrible referees notwithstanding

Haha Yeah . I was just trying to compare a Burnley player who had a similar knack of being in the right place at the right time. Of course at a different level.

What a dreadful FK. After everybody has gone up a poor sideways pass leads to Cullen picking up a yellow.

Poor decision making when we have the ball. Players not on the same page.

I find it puzzling sp doesn't play jay forget his age he knows how to play CF especially as it's been so long since we scored from open play or remotely looked dangerous from set pieces

Anthony has also been creating a bit. I'd like to see Flemming with more of the ball, (as I'm sure we all would).

I'd have put money on JRod being on the end of that Pires pass.

Is a cross that is deflected to the keeper considered a shot on target?

Not impressed again. Couple of good passages of play, but on the whole the end product is poor and we look a bit vulnerable on the counter. Flemming isn't a striker, not that he's getting any service, but looks another game where we may well struggle to score.
