Was thinking of going but that price is putting me off.

What, for the sake of an extra £6? Take some sandwiches instead of buying some food and you'll have covered it!mickleoverclaret wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2024 4:25 pmWas thinking of going but that price is putting me off.

It's the principle of the thing! A lot of time and money to watch uninspiring football as it is.

Fully understand that - but as I've said before about people in glass houses, our club is charging £35 to away fans for some games.mickleoverclaret wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2024 4:25 pmWas thinking of going but that price is putting me off.

I guess Norwich isn't one of them though.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2024 5:35 pmFully understand that - but as I've said before about people in glass houses, our club is charging £35 to away fans for some games.

It’s a local game for me but I can’t stand the 3pm Sunday games in the championship.
Re: 2024/25: Norwich City v Burnley – Ticket Information
Perhaps they have plans for Sundays? Plays havoc with junior football for us, but others might be fine if they don't have other commitments, 8pm kick offs on a school day are a pain in the backside .

Matters a lot to a lot of fans right across the league.

Absolutely, for many different reasonsClaretTony wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2024 10:28 pmMatters a lot to a lot of fans right across the league.
Re: 2024/25: Norwich City v Burnley – Ticket Information
Not really sure why? Didn't seem to matter when we were in the PL and had Sunday games. But obviously change of day from the traditional Saturday won't suit everybody.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Fri Nov 08, 2024 10:28 pmMatters a lot to a lot of fans right across the league.

I absolutely hate Sunday games, especially ones where I won’t be back home until 9pm, I like to relax on a Sunday prior to back to work Monday! Also ruins being able to have a proper beer etc. Millwall was a stinker, ruined a great London trip it being moved to a Sunday.

Be surprised if we manage a thousand for this one.

Travelling on a Sunday is much more difficult, people have families too and spend time with them on a Sunday, no day off on the day after the match makes a difference. There are a lot of good reasons why a Sunday is not good.

Agree but whenever we play, it'll be good for some but not for others.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 11:44 amTravelling on a Sunday is much more difficult, people have families too and spend time with them on a Sunday, no day off on the day after the match makes a difference. For a lot of reasons as others have already said. People having to work on Monday mornings etc. My Mum and Dad need to be back home in Kent for Monday morning so it makes it difficult for them. On a Saturday we could’ve gone for a couple of pints after the game and had a relaxing Sunday morning. It’s a ball ache.
Re: 2024/25: Norwich City v Burnley – Ticket Information
And in the grand scheme of things the viewing figures for TV will be absolutely tiny, with Premier league games on at the same time. Certainly not worth the disruption to the match going fans.Pearcey wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 4:52 pmFor a lot of reasons as others have already said. Re: 2024/25: Norwich City v Burnley – Ticket Information
So the 3pm Sunday kick off quite rightly gets a major thumbs down from most people on here.
Like others I was looking forward to Millwall away until it was programmed in for 3pm Sunday.
Pretty difficult to get back to the NW and be fully functional for work at 9am on the Monday morning.

As a supporter who relies on public transport to get to matches home and away, Sunday fixtures are an absolute pain.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat Nov 09, 2024 11:44 amTravelling on a Sunday is much more difficult, people have families too and spend time with them on a Sunday, no day off on the day after the match makes a difference. If the Spoons is an old chapel then I’ll find a quiet corner to repent

The Norwich spoons is a brand new building, the 'Queen of the Iceni' - who I assume was Boudica, so probably not the religion you were looking for.

Re: 2024/25: Norwich City v Burnley – Ticket Information
Have we only got block F ? Don’t really want to be stuck in the corner but likewise don’t want to risk waiting for block G if it ain’t there!
Re: 2024/25: Norwich City v Burnley – Ticket Information
The allocation is 2020, so we should have blocks in addition to F but whether those get put on sale will obviously depend on us selling out F.Jimmymaccer wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2024 1:39 pmHave we only got block F ? Very strict selling order from Norwich. I’d have rather not gone for Block F but had no real option.Jimmymaccer wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2024 1:39 pmHave we only got block F ? Don’t really want to be stuck in the corner but likewise don’t want to risk waiting for block G if it ain’t there!

Re: 2024/25: Norwich City v Burnley – Ticket Information
Norwich have let me know there are 450 seats in block F, the lowest allocation they could give to away fans, and the only block for away fans which are all rail/safe standing seats. Norwich are only selling to midway block H.
I guess we’ll take more than 450 despite some grumpyness about it being on a Sunday………

Re: 2024/25: Norwich City v Burnley – Ticket Information
And obviously Burnley have the option for now on blocks G/H depending on demand.
Re: 2024/25: Norwich City v Burnley – Ticket Information
If we start selling the other blocks but then don't sell out, I'm sure you'll be able to move over to the the empty seats.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2024 2:44 pmVery strict selling order from Norwich. I’d have rather not gone for Block F but had no real option.

Re: 2024/25: Norwich City v Burnley – Ticket Information
It’s the usual A to Z then AA to NN (from Norwich’s website for block H)
But even NN will be nothing like the back row at Newcastle!!!

Re: 2024/25: Norwich City v Burnley – Ticket Information
I have selected pick up from TM, doesn't say from which date though. Does it usually take a while for them to come, or is there a chance they may be there by this sat. I am in Burnley sat morning so would be convenient.
Re: 2024/25: Norwich City v Burnley – Ticket Information
I can't find any date for collection, so best to just ring the TO and ask.Cardclaret wrote: ↑Tue Nov 12, 2024 9:57 pmI have selected pick up from TM, doesn't say from which date though. Managed to order my ticket as local to me now

Re: 2024/25: Norwich City v Burnley – Ticket Information
Got mine as well as also local. I can park my car at work just behind the ground. Really handy for me.

Are we not going to sell out?
Don't really want the block currently on offer?
If sales are slow will they cap it at the current blocks?
