Businesslike.
The best way to describe this season so far. Yes it hasn’t been pretty, but the job is to get out of this league and it is being done very professionally so far. I have been a critic of SP, but credit where credit is due. Solid in defence, goals starting to go in at the other end.

Re: Businesslike.
Imagine being a critic of a manager after a few games after the pre season he has had. What a prat you are along with the others. Thank god no one takes you seriously.gandhisflipflop wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2024 5:10 pmThe best way to describe this season so far. MOD: Totally unnecessary response to a very open and fair post. Not the first time this has happened. Seven day posting ban now issued. And a final warning around unnecessary remarks to other users.

The irony of you calling me a prat. I couldn’t give a **** whether you take me seriously or not get over yourself.pushpinpussy wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2024 5:19 pmImagine being a critic of a manager after a few games after the pre season he has had. I watch these games and think we are beating teams in second gear. If we needed to up it we could.

Imagine constantly lying about being a solicitor. I'm still waiting for you to 'take action' against me, remember?pushpinpussy wrote: ↑Sat Nov 30, 2024 5:19 pmImagine being a critic of a manager after a few games after the pre season he has had. Re: Businesslike.
I agree we were marvellous yesterday. My post was more of a reflection on the season so far, with an admittance of being impatient in recent weeks, and an admittance of being wrong.

Re: Businesslike.
The response from PPP was obviously unnecessary, and a little ott considering the subject and the admission from the OP, but if he’s been issued a ban for calling someone a prat, then surely there should be some consistency here?
Mods can’t be punishing one poster and ignoring the same offence from another. Unless I'm missing something, something isn’t quite right here. I find this “uncomfortable”.
Moderate as you see fit, but if you are going to do it, be fair. This looks to me like a certain poster has been banned for something other than what’s been posted on this thread.
MOD: short suspension issued due to repeated calling out others in an unnecessary manner. Please report all instances of this from any user. We don’t want it on here. PPP is more than welcome to continue posting on here when the suspension is up, but a stance had to be made.

Re: Businesslike.
I personally also wouldn’t want him banned for calling me a prat, he’s entitled to his opinion. Going off the mods comments, it sounds like it’s a collective rather than an isolated incident.bobinho wrote: ↑Sun Dec 01, 2024 12:24 pmThe response from PPP was obviously unnecessary, and a little ott considering the subject and the admission from the OP, but if he’s been issued a ban for calling someone a prat, then surely there should be some consistency here?

Re: Businesslike.
Some people seem to court controversy and PPP is certainly one of them.
Why on earth would you call a fellow poster a prat, especially when they have posted a reasonable opinion,is beyond me.
After all, we all want the same thing- a successful team led by an astute experienced manager.

Re: Businesslike.
It’s easy to get angry at someone on here but in my opinion there really is no excuse for personal abuse. If people disagree with me that is their right but being abusive or suggesting someone is a liar is not good. We are, after all, all Clarets are we not?
