An 11-a-side set of portaits

Post by troubleatmexico » Fri Dec 06, 2024 11:34 am

Just sharing that my talented artist brother has just completed a set of first team portraits of his favourite players plus Dyche. Here's some blurb from his website:

"At its smallest size, a piece of glossy paper used in any one of the pieces in this project was as large and as wide as an eyelash. And just as fiddly.

Up to 80 hours was spent producing each of these works. If you ask ‘why?’ I previously posted here about the process of creating the Carlisle, Blake and Dyche portraits and the reasons for doing so."

Here is his website is you want to have a gander:

Impressive.

I saw this a few years ago:

This seems to have been done using torn paper and on a larger scale.

I would guess doing it in colour is a lot more challenging as well as of course smaller pieces.
