I very much doubt it.
Also, why would you call Dyche "dislikeable?"
Whatever his good and bad points during his time with us, I never once felt that I didn't like him.
I very much doubt it.
Everton have flirted with relegation for a few years now. I'm not sure they'll get the big name manager their fans think they're entitled to.theduke wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2024 7:59 pmYou don't think Thomas frank... A manager who manages a team that plays in a 17k stadium that only has one ambition. To stay in the PL wouldn't want to manage a team that plays in a 53k stadium and wants to win things?
I think you are deluding yourself a little. Probably due to the bad blood between us and Everton with the FFP and relegation.
I actually think Frank would have joined them when dyche was appointed if they could afford the compo. Now it's a completely different beast.
Of course they will. A big club and money attracts.fidelcastro wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2024 8:06 pmEverton have flirted with relegation for a few years now. I'm not sure they'll get the big name manager their fans think they're entitled to.
I don't disagree that Howe is a top manager (probably the best English manager), but you wrong about his backing.
He doesn't though let's be honest
He needs to calm down!AmbleClaret wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2024 9:41 pmWho is this 'Duke' clown ? I suggest he hurries back to Liverpool quickly in time for the new stadium unveiling.
It'll run to a conclusion if the reported term finishes slightly different to giving somebody a lengthy contract & not long after then getting rid. It just won't be renewed without a pay out instead of letting somebody go & still paying them.
Only ever seems to post on Everton threads for some odd reason?!?AmbleClaret wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2024 9:41 pmWho is this 'Duke' clown ? I suggest he hurries back to Liverpool quickly in time for the new stadium unveiling.

Highly amusing comparison Brentford a club with one ambition to stay in the Prem v Everton a club who want to win things.theduke wrote: ↑Thu Dec 19, 2024 7:59 pmYou don't think Thomas frank... They do, they just know that Dyche can't progress them. He's shown absolutely nothing to suggest he can.California Colner wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2024 2:36 amThat’s been very hard to do with the points deductions no money and the injuries
Everton fans don’t appreciate what he has done!!
The fans will get there way and get rid of Dyche one way or other
Agree with most of this. He was incredible for us and worked wonders. But jeez, he became so arrogant it was untrue towards the end.Shaggy wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2024 7:53 amNo no no they can’t let the arrogant tosspot see out his contract they need to keep up his 100% record of being bagged.
He is despised by Everton fans for a couple of reasons, being style of play and general game management. They have seen through him pretty quickly unlike some people on here can’t/wont acknowledge. His character is like someone mentioned, arrogant and unlikable. He thinks he is better than what he is.
There is not a cat in hells chance that Dyche will be managing a premier league club with a big budget and ambition. Relegation battler at best.
Martinez had one good season and then finished 11th twice before the fans fell out with him.theduke wrote: ↑Fri Dec 20, 2024 9:20 amAnnual relegation fight? The last 3 seasons, whilst they've had to stop spending to finance a new stadium.
Before that they had 1 didn't they? the Wimbledon season. So thats rubbish, Moyes and Martinez had them in europe consistently and in a cup final and 2 semi finals.
Brentford have no ambition to win things. They are not the same as Everton.
