Need to press them instead of standing off when the ball is in their half. Boro really don't know what to do with it except send it long

Game has lost its way a little.

We’ve given up momentum quite a few times through a lack of concentration.

I see the anti-Trafford boys are out and about again... one tiny slip FFS.
Tiny slip? It should have cost us a goal. Bad miss by the Borough lad.

There doesn't seem to be room in midfield when we pass the ball out.

Definitely Laurent’s worse game so far. Keeps giving up possession cheaply.

Vrownhill hustled out of it. Sets up their attack. Comes to nothing.

His eyes won’t have been on that player in the build up. Could have missed him. You’d still expect Esteve to give him a shout as the player came back. Lax all round.

Some of our passes in the final third are dreadfully poor.

Misplaced five yard passes, balls played to feet when they should be played in front of the man to be run onto. Pretty basic stuff.

Wish we’d just have a go from the edge of the box instead of trying to force an extra pass into the box

Tough this with them sitting 11 men behind the ball at times. Almost playing like the away side. Hopefully we can break them down, some good attacking moments from us - just lacking that final killer ball.

I think we've shown them a little bit too much respect. Need to be more consistent on the ball but in general we've been very solid and decent value for a good point so far.

We've got in decent positions but failed to shoot today. Might need a moment of individual quality to unlock this game.

Somebody shoot - worth a pop from the 18-20 yard line!!!! Been an intriguing game so far. Browny was totally overrunning them for a while and Anthony is ha ing a very good game too.

Boro are a decent side though.

Good half.

Need to let a **** off when we have that opportunity though.

Browhill looks a class above. Flemming no impact at all.

Better team, but no clear chances.

We're the better side, but we need that last decisive pass to set up a goal. I'd be looking at Sarmiento after the hour mark.

What about when we don't have the ball? Boro's left back has had a torrid half in huge part because Anthony doesn't give him a minutes peace. Benson doesn't do that.

Playing okay but Laurent and Hannibal aren't having their best game . Maybe Koleosho after about 70 minutes if nothing changes.

Impressed with that half. Thought Brownhill, Cullen and Anthony were very good. Some nice moments which just needed the last ball to come off.

Rodriguez for Flemming, sooner rather than later. Pity as I predicted he would score today! Not touched it!

Not getting the ball forward to flemming at all. Not sure if this is because he offers little movement or it’s how parker wants to play. Also play down the left if near none existent. Maybe time for Koleosho to come on and stretch the game a bit. Parker won’t make a sub at Ht though. Bit worried about this one as weve looked uncomfortable at the back a few times tonight. Can see them getting a goal and we make the subs too late. Heres to a good team talk at half time team talk anyway ! UTC

However, the lads very much in credit.

Boro have defended well from the front, and defended their box well. They're playing the game of "break us down", which to be fair is how to play against us. Its these games where I want flemming facing goal. He can't shoot with his back to goal. Get Foster on, take laurent out and move brownhill deeper.

They have their third choice goalie in, that the fans really don't rate, and we haven't given him anything to think about.
