Anthony dreadful. It breaks down every time we get in the box.
Not much better from Sarmiento either.
Our wingers make being a striker a bloody difficult job.

Anthony has played some decent balls in… but no one is there. A lot of our play is going though him - we’re not likely to score unless we change the approach. Flemming is no where to be seen - like playing with 10 men: he needs to be brought into the game.
And take a shot! Have we had one yet?!

After watching that half and Flemming it's crying out for a striker with a better ability to win and hold the ball.
Barnes 0-1.

We've said this for all of our strikers. It's the system we play that marginalises their involvement imo
Agreed!........& he's not a striker.

Cullen and Laurent could both have had 2 yellows each and Burnley down to 9 men
As I said referee doing well and been reluctant to book as it is a Derby and nobody wants to see 20 bookings and 4 red cards

Disagree. Look how many touches he's getting on the ball - constantly making himself available. It's only him and Brownhill in the final third, the rest are anonymous.

Good refereeing.

Let’s not beat around the bush, Blackburn are utterly shite, but we’re so devoid of ideas up top.

Will Parker take the 0-0 or be proactive? That first half works if you want 0-0. If you want to win, it has to be changed.

But so could Blackburn. Can't well went through Cullen Laurent and someone else and there was also their left back on Roberts. He let most go but decided enough is enough with Laurent

Flemmings involvement in that 45 minutes was minimal. Got to bring AB on and I wasn’t a fan of him returning.

Well, that happened (copyright Enola Gay).
We created nothing. They tried to create but then they are playing at home.
Cullen lucky not to get a yellow. It was Laurent who got Cullen's card.

We got kicked up in the air there at every opportunity for the first 30 with virtually nothing given! The foul on the edge of their area where he waved play on was f*cking embarrassing

Excellent defensively as ever, but we won’t score a goal if we stay at Bollywood until midnight.
At what point do we commit men into their box and try and score a goal?

I think the ref has been fine. Tried to let things go as much as possible. Apart from the one on Sarmiento.

Get Kolo and Barnes on
Does Anthony know you can run around the outside of a defender?

Disappointed with that. Flemming looks half assed. Not even challenging for headers he should be competing for.
Sarmiento lively, but the reality is we can't create anything decent, once again trying to be too intricate in the box.

We need to stick a proper striker up top. Flemming just isn't attacking the ball nor occupying centre halves like a proper 9 should be.
That's because he's not a proper 9, he's a 10

This ain't a derby with hard tackling and fast tempo pace
This is just a load of clowns trying to slyly kick each other and no quality to the football at all
Ironically the non-sly tackles are the only ones being punished
Someone needs to remind them there's 3 PTS at stake here

Takes from the game so far.
Overplaying the few chances weve had , Egan Riley is an absolute outstanding centre half.
Their actually playing like an away side and trying to catch on the break.. were are usual self at the moment.
Ref has let a lot go ,as its a derby. i think hell be saying at half time that’s it now to both sides..
Humphries and Sarmiento not really linking.. the same old conumdrum how to change it to create more in the box

We've looked comfortable. Blackburn haven't really threatened us and we've contained them well. Defensively we've been fantastic.
It really looked like we'd begun to find that secret sauce against Sheffield but since then we've gone on to have three shots on target in 235 minutes of football.
We've been through enough variations of players now for me to be under the impression that it's the system that would require tweaking, so I'm not expecting the subs we have to make too much of a difference, no reason for Parker to switch anything too drastic when I think we'd all be happy with a 0-0 draw, which would be good and fair. Boring game.

Yet another game where I'm glad I've saved 5 hrs driving up and down the M6 and about £100.
Absolutely tedious stuff. No quality, no shots - oppo keeper thinking about booking his summer holidays.

Complete and utter dross, the worst part is it's predictable. Week after week of dogshite, sucking the life out of the game and zero signs of progress, improvement whilst the manager continues to pick the same players, in the same positions, doing the same ****.
