Food Count B. Rovers 04/01

For your consideration I present a 420g tin of Del Monte Fruit Cocktail. You are invited to guess the quantities of significant pieces of the following fruits therein :-
Peach -
Pear -
Pineapple -
Grape -
Cherry -
Total fruit pieces -

You are also invited to guess the weight in grammes of the quantity of light syrup which drains off from my tin when left to drain in a small colander for a period not exceeding 5 minutes.

Guidelines :-
a) The deadline for submitting guesses is 10am on Saturday 4th January at which point drainage will commence.
b) I will award 10 points for any correct guesses.
c) In the event that no counter guesses a particular component correctly then 5 points will be awarded to the counter/s with the nearest guess.
d) Please present your guesses in the above order to ease collation of results.
e) The total quantity of fruit pieces guessed does not need to equal the sum of the individual components. These totals will not therefore be checked but will be entered as submitted.

It is hoped that by estimating the quantities of each of these particular types of fruit then the food counting gods will smile favourably upon us and inspire our beloved clarets to victory against our most bitter of local rivals in the footballing contest which will follow this food count.
