I've Shrews/Wrexham on.
Fletcher still has that great first touch & vision.
Never realised he's a Shrews born lad.

Ipswich losing at home to Brighton....They could easily follow the same path as Luton.

Contender for miss of the season.
Re: TONIGHT'S GAMES
Anthony has to go down as the worst ever PL signing when you take into account the transfer fee

If Saints are bottom of the league I don’t think they’res much point us getting promoted, they’re streets ahead of us.

Ainsworth's got better long hair than me though.
Can't have that from a Blackburn lad.

We would absolutely be on more than 6 points with the way we set up
They are not streets ahead of us at all

I'd say more like miss of the century, absolute stinker.
Re: TONIGHT'S GAMES
I’ve just been on this game with my wife who is a Shrews fan. Not a top quality game but lots of passion on and off the pitch.Buxtonclaret wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 10:00 pmShrewsbury beat high flying Wrexham in their big derby.

Was a good watch.
'Proper' derby. Proper footy too. Atmosphere on the ground must have been electric! Sounded good on tv.

Re: TONIGHT'S GAMES
He might be a b*stard, but Ainsworth is one of the good 'uns.
Re: TONIGHT'S GAMES
More Forster's error IMO. If you see a man in the penalty area facing his own goal with an opponent charging towards him from behind, you really shouldn't give him the ball. THB should have played it out for a corner if he'd known that Amad was behind him.

Re: TONIGHT'S GAMES
More Forster’s error is some take.
Re: TONIGHT'S GAMES
Not sure how anyone can watch it and conclude that it wasn't THB's error. Even he knew instantly.
Re: TONIGHT'S GAMES
Understand where you're coming from but that thinking is a little bit outdated with this passing out from the back style that everyone is now adamant they want to play despite 95% of the pyramid being shite at it.
An opponent charging at you is exactly what you're after, as if they were any good at it they'd shift the ball to where Amad was and then they'd have acres of space opened up. Poor touch from THB is what naffed that up.

Re: TONIGHT'S GAMES
Will have to agree to disagree on that but I reckon the only area we are better than them is the defence ,their left winger was loads better than anything we have. The Shire Claret wrote: ↑Thu Jan 16, 2025 10:34 pmThere is no way you can compare the teams
