That time of year again to start planning.
Anyone out there in Claretland with experience of Kos?
Looking for a good quality Hotel with no rug rats, around July.
Any tips gratefully received!

Re: Kos
Don't know of any adults only places, unfortunately, but been for the last two years June/July
to a place just outside Kos town called Nicon apartments in Psalidi. Small beach nearby.
About 25/30 minutes walk into town or there's a bus stop just down the lane. (€1.50) One way.
Lovely pool, apartments a bit dated, but great atmosphere round the pool bar.
Kos town is really good imo.
It's on the Jet2 website.

Re: Kos
Stayed in many different places on Kos over the last 25 years .Like Kardamena , Kos Town and Kefalos BUT you should consider trying Kalymnos a small island about 10 miles North West accessible by ferry from Mastichari on the North Coast directly across from Kardamena ..takes about 40 minutes to an hour depending on which ferry you get .The best side of the island to stay ( Kalymnos ) is the West...Massouri , Myrties ,Kantouni BUT don't go in August...too hot and very busy because lots of Greeks come down from Athens and from the US and Australia. We go in June and September flying to Kos from LBA .Jet 2 do a few places on Kalymnos .The Plaza in Massouri is good and there are a few others .The people are great .Loads of Tavernas .Prices very reasonable .If you go to Kos you should try it for a day or two.

Re: Kos
Sacallis Inn , Kefalos. Not posh but right on the beach, with an excellent restaurant.

Re: Kos
My aunty moved to Kalymnos back in the early 1990s for eight years or so. We used to go over to see her in mid-spring or early October. October was best - not too hot, lovely mild evenings, and the sea has had all summer to warm up. We'd knock about around Pothia, Kantouni and Myrties.Foreverly Claret wrote: ↑Tue Feb 04, 2025 1:12 pmWe go in June and September flying to Kos from LBA .Jet 2 do a few places on Kalymnos .The Plaza in Massouri is good and there are a few others .The people are great .Loads of Tavernas .Prices very reasonable .If you go to Kos you should try it for a day or two.
