Ticket Exchange
Anyone else have their season tickets on the Ticket Exchange for the Hull game?
Have two tickets that haven’t been resold but don’t appear to be available on the ticket site seat plan. Odd.

Re: Ticket Exchange
They try to sell the clubs tickets before ST holders, 100% profit instead of 50.

I’m sure they’ve always appeared on the site seating plan for previous games though.

Re: Ticket Exchange
Happened twice to me now. First time early in the season. Then listed Leeds and Oxford, former sold, latter was on seat plan then checked on the day and they had disappeared, still unsold. So something in their technology is failing.LlandennyClaret wrote: ↑Tue Feb 11, 2025 8:38 pmAnyone else have their season tickets on the Ticket Exchange for the Hull game?

That’s one reason I haven’t listed mine tomorrow despite it being too far to drive after work.

Re: Ticket Exchange
The ticketing website since it moved to 'eticketing' by TicketDisaster is an absolute abomination of a system. Bloody awful - unusable in some cases.
Sick of crap software that makes everything twice as hard.

Being a mere Cricket Field Stand season ticket holder, I dream about being able to use the ticket exchange...

Re: Ticket Exchange
Just spoken to a lass in the ticket office.
Apparently they are technically on sale for the ticket office staff to see but not visible online until they have sold their “general sale” tickets, so unpopular midweek matches will never see their tickets listed even though we get an email saying “your ticket is now on sale”. They are sort of stuck in a holding pattern until air traffic control (aka the ticket office) give permission to land.
That explains why my excellent seats rarely sell when I cannot attend midweek. Because nobody can see them to buy them. So buyers will rock up online and have to get a seat in the wings.
That feels like a con to me, telling us the Exchange is available all season but it isn’t really, so we make a judgement call not to go thinking we could get some credit back, then get disappointed each week.
They should change the messaging for these games, which is inaccurate and misleading.

Re: Ticket Exchange
I have emailed the club again about this issue - when I received a response last year, they said:
The reason we haven’t allowed the Barnfield is because of spectator safety that has come from the Ground safety team. They don’t want any match by match buyers in this area, they want it to be purely season ticket holders. This is something we’re monitoring and in dialogue about and I’m hoping we can organise something soon that will allow this to be an option.
I did mention that seats in the CFS are, instead, being sold in large quantities on Twitter and that means the club have zero idea of who is buying the tickets!
I haven't had a response from the club to my latest email asking if there were plans to change this stance for next season.
We live close to Bournemouth and cant get to about 40% od the home games but still keep our STs and don't sell on Twitter - it would be good to get an opportunity to legitimately pass the tickets on for those games we cant make!

Re: Ticket Exchange
So basically they want people to pay through the nose for rubbish seats while good one's are sat empty.

Re: Ticket Exchange
The system was clearly aimed at the Prem, and worked well for me throughout that season...it should also work very well for the higgest demand games this season... but anyone thinking they'll be able to get a payoff for the lowest demand televised night games in a wet cold february need a reality check....that was clearly (and rightly) never the club's intention.

Re: Ticket Exchange
Sure no problem with that, but they are misleading people by stating that "These tickets have been posted but yet to be sold on Ticket Exchange."
They may have been "posted" but not to anywhere that people can buy them. "Yet to be sold" implies they have been made ready for sale.
Re: Ticket Exchange
Why wouldn't they sell their own tickets before 3rd party ones? It was designed when we were selling out

Re: Ticket Exchange
Ironically after my earlier chat to the Ticket Office they have now all appeared online and one of my seats has already been purchased which is a bonus.
This should happen every game without delay.

Re: Ticket Exchange
Surely they've realised by now people aren't going to pay 40-50 quid for these midweek games that are on TV. Better to get all available tickets online and take what they can.
