Wide open game.....entertaining so far.
Re: Tottenham/Man U
These teams used to be listed in the ‘Big Six’. What constitutes being part of that list now?
I guess one could argue that Utd should be on the list for their ‘brand’ alone!

I see Odobert is on Spurs bench, hopefully he'll get a few minutes.

Re: Tottenham/Man U
Commentary saying what a poor game it was but I really enjoyed it. Back and forth, mistakes, bits of good play, bits of crap play. It’s not just about one or other team being incredibly dominant or brilliant that creates a spectacle. I think the Premier League and TV forget that. Half the time when City or Arsenal are on I find myself scrolling through my phone within 15 minutes.
Re: Tottenham/Man U
It was enjoyable. But football is crying out for forwards. We’re in the generation that grew up watching, wanting to be like Ronaldo/Messi/Hazard, wide players. There’s a shortage of world class forwards (or any really) and as soon as the ball goes anywhere up top the move fizzles out or is wasted.

Solanke is excellent but no surprise with Spurs, he's injuredDyched wrote: ↑Sun Feb 16, 2025 7:07 pmIt was enjoyable. But football is crying out for forwards.
