Interesting goalkeeper selection, for Green to suddenly start playing for U21s.

Half time: Burnley 0 Wigan 1
We’ve not been very good at all tonight but I wasn’t expecting that goal.

Re: U21s v Wigan
Wigan have just missed an absolute sitter. Waited for the net to bulge but it went wide.

Re: U21s v Wigan
Socoliche got past the goalkeeper but from a wide position couldn’t find the empty net with the ball going wide for a goal kick.

Thanks for the updates Tony. Felt guilty you having to take your gloves off to keep us updated!
Sounds like a disappointing night.

Despite thermal socks and football socks on my feet are unbelievably cold but my hands are numb from taking off my gloves to post.
Just a disappointing performance but they’ve been rare this season to be fair. The more experienced players had off nights too.

Probably why sticking then straight into the first team as some suggest might not be the smartest moveClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 9:01 pmDespite thermal socks and football socks on my feet are unbelievably cold but my hands are numb from taking off my gloves to post.

It feels like minus ten tonight. Fantastic effort to get out and watch, but really appreciate the updates.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Tue Feb 18, 2025 9:01 pmDespite thermal socks and football socks on my feet are unbelievably cold but my hands are numb from taking off my gloves to post.

Sad to hear about the more experienced players. I looked at that team and was expecting a big win. Everyone can have an off night and hopefully lots of lessons to learn.
Hope you thaw out and warm up soon.
