Not sure we have much better to be honest?
We could catch the odd team out but generally should have a poor tournament.

I honestly think it’s the best team we can put out.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2025 8:56 pmNot sure we have much better to be honest?

Glad we have found someone to go in at 3, been crying out for some more batting.

Aren’t Australia in a bit of turmoil? Quite a few drop outs in last few weeks.

Wouldn’t say necessarily turmoil but a few of there star bowlers have dropped out of the ODI sceneBordeauxclaret wrote: ↑Thu Feb 20, 2025 9:04 pmAren’t Australia in a bit of turmoil? Quite a few drop outs in last few weeks.
So no Cummins or Hazelwood which is a massive loss.
But they still have arguably three of the best ODI players around in Smith, Maxwell and Zampa

Yes 09.00 start our time, watch the start whilst having breakfast.
I'm pretty pessimistic about our chances. Batting might come good in the odd game but don't think our bowling is good enough to go far
Re: England vs Australia Champions Trophy
Australia have lost their entire fast bowling attack and have just been hammered by Sri Lanka….fully expect England to win on Saturday but overall, there’s no one to touch India

Baz's cunning plan to win the Champions Trophy :-
play four wicketkeepers in the top six batting places

Jon Lewis should take note - as long as all four are allowed to field with the gloves on.BedfordsDad wrote: ↑Fri Feb 21, 2025 5:17 pmBaz's cunning plan to win the Champions Trophy :-

England 113/2 off 16 overs ... pitch looks a belter .... cue almost inevitable batting collapse !

Re: England vs Australia Champions Trophy
Ben Duckett has the highest score by an England man v Australia in an ICC 50-over event, beating Kevin Pietersen's 104 at the World Cup in Antigua in 2007. Ben Stokes the only other man to make a ton for England v Australia at a WC or CT
