Re: Newspaper article on Scott Parker
Thanks for sharing. It’s a decent read but very hyperbolic - next England manager is a very long stretch from where we/he is currently.

Re: Newspaper article on Scott Parker
I picked up on the 1.88 Championship points per game and that’s impressive.
Dyche, including the games in the season he replaced Howe, reached 1.84 but that reduces with his season at Watford to 1.72.

What was Dyche's ppg taking away the Watford year and the howe replacement season?

He won 44 points from 33 games having replaced Howe and 64 points from 46 games at Watford.

That should make a nice even 2 points a game.

Re: Newspaper article on Scott Parker
Apologies for going off topic, but if we were to go unbeaten until the end of the season would that be 15 defeats in 4 full championship seasons?
I know it must be something near that...
Crazy that the team that finishes 6th in the championship this year will likely have around the same number of defeats as we have in 4 seasons

Yes, currently 15 defeats in the last 175 Championship games which includes the final three games of the 2012/13 season.Burnley1989 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 26, 2025 1:04 pmApologies for going off topic, but if we were to go unbeaten until the end of the season would that be 15 defeats in 4 full championship seasons?

The game before that was the 1-0 defeat at Leeds in April 2013. We were awful that night. I don’t think we could have ever imagined what would happen next.

It’s much better than Liverpool or Man C levels actually. City have lost 25 in their last 178 and Liverpool 25 in their last 179.

Real Madrid is 20 losses in 177.
It is also better than Bayern and PSG so I reckon it is likely to be the best record at a particular level in Europe.

Re: Newspaper article on Scott Parker
I’m obviously bored today but Celtic have 16 losses in their last 175 league games.
