Kyle Foster ….Goal machine
Before kick off on Saturday the BBC commentator , in running through the teams, said “striker Kyle Foster has scored two in the last three league games” .Check it on the iPlayer MotD “highlights” if you don’t believe me. Where on earth did he get these “facts” from I wonder !?
I should say I’m a fan of the BBC and MotD normally before the “abolish the licence fee” mob jump on this.

I heard him say Kyle too but just assumed it was my ears.
That's poor!

Re: Kyle Foster ….Goal machine
Surely to be a commentator he has to do at least some basic research pre game. Even if he didn't I'd expect him to be aware of someone who scored goals in the Premier league last seaspn for us.
Re: Kyle Foster ….Goal machine
The commentator at the city game said Oberfemi couldn't play because he was on loan from Burnley, clearly not realising he came on in the last round v Liverpool
Re: Kyle Foster ….Goal machine
Not our team I know but yesterday (and when I’ve watched him on MOTD) the commentators continually call Sander Berge, Berger.

Re: Kyle Foster ….Goal machine
I picked it up from the TV too, had to go back and check he said Kyle rather than Lyle, which he did, but where on earth do they come up with two goals in his last three games from?Stalbansclaret wrote: ↑Mon Mar 03, 2025 9:02 amBefore kick off on Saturday the BBC commentator , in running through the teams, said “striker Kyle Foster has scored two in the last three league games” .Check it on the iPlayer MotD “highlights” if you don’t believe me. Re: Kyle Foster ….Goal machine
Sounds like the kind of striker we should be in for if this Kyle can score goals.
Re: Kyle Foster ….Goal machine
I did wonder as I questioned it.
Re: Kyle Foster ….Goal machine
The 2 in 3 games comment made me laugh. If only!! 2 in 23 apps this season isn't it?

Re: Kyle Foster ….Goal machine
Picked up the “Kyle” and “2 in three” comments, but what told me more than anything they had not even given the passing courtesy of a bit of research was that they droned on endlessly about our iron defence without once mentioning that only Estève remained of it for the game. The commentator is stealing a living…. JOHN Motson would have known who was missing, how long they’d all been at the club, who they’d played for and who their mothers and fathers had supported.
Re: Kyle Foster ….Goal machine
I hope everyone realises that our supporters will now be shouting “come on Kyle”

Re: Kyle Foster ….Goal machine
If he becomes a 2 in 3 man he can be called Jeremy Kyle as far as I’m concerned.

Is the title of the post was Lyle would it be called an oxymoron, now Kyle Walker he certainly knows how to score.Stalbansclaret wrote: ↑Mon Mar 03, 2025 9:02 amBefore kick off on Saturday the BBC commentator , in running through the teams, said “striker Kyle Foster has scored two in the last three league games” .Check it on the iPlayer MotD “highlights” if you don’t believe me. Years ago when we beat Preston 4-3 with Rodriguez scoring the winner, Martin Keown on BBC said it was a "great header by Rodallega"
