Pandemonium at The Summit traffic lights

Post by ClaretTony » Thu Mar 13, 2025 9:56 am

If you are heading up Manchester Road and can find an alternative route then I would. There is some resurfacing work being done and there are temporary traffic lights. It’s taking an age.

The headline suggested you were becoming political on this MB.
I thought for a moment the Ruskies had "nuked" the US delegation in Moscow

Or I watched my bus take 20 minutes to move about 100 yards.

I’ll change the thread title.

When I was driving over there after the match on Tuesday, I thought how bad does it have to get before they get round to resurfacing? Now I know the answer.

I got stuck in it this morning. It wasn't as bad a couple of hours later when I was coming back into town, but the traffic going the other way was horrendous.

Yep, you had to slow down to avoid ripping your tyres to shreds, yet nearly every time you could guarantee that some arsehole behind you would tailgate within a couple of feet.

Spotted on my way home. Even worse this morning was walking down the footpath only to find they'd blocked it at the end.
