Excellent report. A very good read.

Phil Bird has said Ward is on 4th official duties at Southampton this weekend. For both teams’ sakes I hope the main referee warms up thoroughly enough so that he doesn’t suffer a muscle injury!

Despite the magnificent 24 game run I think 4 straight league wins is the best we have done all season and we have even gone 4 games without a win

And a four game run is almost irrelevant. We went up in 2009 in a season where we lost five on the bounce. In the season we qualified for Europe we had a run of nine without a win. We had a run of five without a win in Dyche's first promotion season.
Yes, longest run without a win is 4, longest run without a defeat is 24.
