CJ card HAS been appealed, Parker thinks we have a very strong case. Going down the route of it was a tactical foul as CJ thought the game was still on going and in no way was it violent.

Parker was sent off for 'approaching the ref' at full time which apparently you can't do. Tell me Gavin Ward doesn't have an agenda..........it happens every single week across the country.

Doesn’t the manager ‘approach the ref’ after every single match to shake hands? Must be more to it than that surely.

Foster has improved a lot since going off against WBA. Ramsay will have some 11 v 11 game time during the international break and is making good progress. Beyer also doing well but not at the same stage

Expecting the result of the CJ appeal today

Does the ref have any say in the appeals decision or is it a completely independent panel?

Hmm not sure about that one. I'm pretty sure he knew the whistle had gone. If he didn't he was pretty much the only person in the ground who didn't.

What has really annoyed me is the (successful) attempt by the WBA to get a fellow professional sent off. He was tripped, fell onto grass, then chose to roll around like he’d broken his ankle. This sort of thing will have happened on primary school playgrounds up and down the country today and the child involved will have managed to get up off the tarmac surface and get on with it. Now I can sort of understand the reasoning for this sort of reaction during the match, reducing the opposition to ten men is a big advantage, but after the final whistle? Dear me. And from a WBA point of view it’s a big deal if we go into games against two of their play-off rivals (Bristol City and Coventry) with an under strength defence, surely they’d want us to win those games?

You're overlooking the fact that most footballers are mard arses and aren't blessed with common sense.

"Hello is that Mr. Castro? What do you think about the atmosphere at home games?"

"It's awful! They can't even hear it in the Nevada desert!"
