Ex-Claret Trevor Steven is helping a charity providing mental health support, focusing on building sites.

Apologies for the clickbaity thread title - Just hoping everybody who works on sites and in construction sees this initiative. Looks from the story that it's being organised through Everton's community outreach charity.

With so much media coverage of loose cannon footballers it's always refreshing to hear about the ones who do good things. I think there are probably more than we read about it because it players acting in an altruistic manner doesn't fit the mass media narrative.
