Police Incident this afternoon

Post by bumba » Fri Mar 21, 2025 9:41 pm

Anybody know what happened this afternoon?
Police all around the motorway junction near Network 65 then they was all over in cars and on foot around Hapton/Padiham/Rosegrove.
Must have been something serious for so many to be put and about at the same time, I didn't even realise we had so many left and went on for hours.

Just a guess but it could be to do with finding Murgatroyd and King who battered a police woman yesterday and are wanted on Lancs police page on Facebook.
It was in Gt Harwood but they have links over in Padiham/ Burnley.

Yes I saw them outside there in Padiham, seen Police all over the police though wondered if it was all linked but sounds like just several incidents at the same time and quite a few raids.

Thank you're mixing up your gens. Gen X is roughly 1965 to 1980, so 45 to 60 year olds.

Gen X upset at the idea that someone else might be upset? Sounds about right to me :)

Few pub raids indeed in Padiham yesterday - drugs related I think. Not sure if that’s related to this.
