Kazakhstans 10 just tried taking Roberts out long after the ball had gone and after the ref going to the screen he gave him a yellow. Absolutely bizarre decision. Is this guy a Championship ref? Would give Webb a run for his money.

Penalties for those sort of incidents are ridiculous.
The ball was blasted at him.

If they're going to keep this crap up, how long before we see Penalty Aquisitions coaches employed.

Probably not given in the Premier League but always given in Europe. But not a penalty for me.

Could do with him giving James a good kicking in training.

I have to say that Connor Roberts is a player who has increasingly impressed me in his time with us. You've got to love his passion.

Mom yesterday kept his cool well despite the opposition trying to kick him off the park.Jordan James did well yesterday. Ex Blue only 20 yrs old playing in French league sold for £4m maybe worth a punt .

It's decisions like that that resulting in defenders walking around with their hands behind their backs looking like idiots. Surely FIFA can see that this isn't football.

I think it was Sonne the other week when Preston scored their third. He was so busy getting his hands behind his back that he forgot to concentrate on actually trying to block the cross with a tackle.

Sadly, those ruining the game and getting paid for doing so, plus the various pundits, commentators etc. would say that the hands are in a natural position if they are behind their backs!
The game is losing its way and becoming less watchable by the week.
