I know the young players who aren't getting deals have been told. Is FMB one of them and do you know the others?Burnley1989 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 22, 2025 1:18 pmOne that won't be with us next year so I'm really pleased he's scored again, hopefully those that didn't get deals this time find new clubs before the end of the season.

Unfortunately not, I know Ollie Pimlott got one, I'll ask about the others.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat Mar 22, 2025 1:30 pmI know the young players who aren't getting deals have been told. Is FMB one of them and do you know the others?
Really good side that 18s, I'll bet there was some tough decisions.

Re: U18s v Blades
I almost went today but it’s such a struggle for me now stood on a touchline. A friend of mine goes regularly and he suggested that Pimlott was a certainty for a deal.Burnley1989 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 22, 2025 2:00 pmUnfortunately not, I know Ollie Pimlott got one, I'll ask about the others.

Sorry to read that CT, are you able to take a folding chair or something similar so you can attend ?ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat Mar 22, 2025 4:23 pmI almost went today but it’s such a struggle for me now stood on a touchline. Re: U18s v Blades
Philliskirks post match interview suggests 5 without deals, of which 3 played today.
Re: U18s v Blades
You post better scorelines!
Re: U18s v Blades
Yes. Those away matches having to stand , so you can see, does it for me, too.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat Mar 22, 2025 4:23 pmI almost went today but it’s such a struggle for me now stood on a touchline. A friend of mine goes regularly and he suggested that Pimlott was a certainty for a deal.

You got me at standing!ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat Mar 22, 2025 5:04 pmIt's a lot, lot more difficult standing on a touchline than in a ground.

I thought that too, but as it was mixed in with talking about his fasting i wasn’t absolutely certain.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat Mar 22, 2025 5:41 pmAnd listening back, it looks as though Adam Abbas is the fifth.
Re: U18s v Blades
And rightly so. I go to a lot of U18 games and he is certainly one player I would single out as having a chance of making it.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Sat Mar 22, 2025 4:23 pmI almost went today but it’s such a struggle for me now stood on a touchline. Re: U18s v Blades
I didn’t pick up on it initially but I think he’s the other one being released.
That would leave the following staying, although some of them had already signed deals.
Noah Adekoya
Felix Chester
Zach Johnson
Marley Leuluai
Vernon Masara
Adam McCoy
Jack McEvilly
Oli Pimlott
Benji Wetshi

Re: U18s v Blades
Don't know what the set up is like anymore for under 18 but years ago some got better offers from elsewhere and left at end of the season and went on to make a career..
Re: U18s v Blades
He hasn't unfortunately.
