Re: RIP George Foreman
Fun fact: The night he regained the World title by knocking out Michael Moorer in 1994 at the age of 45, he wore the same boxing trunks as he wore for the " Rumble in the Jungle " fight against Ali twenty years earlier ...
RIP Sir .... you were one of the " Greats " !

Re: RIP George Foreman
This is sad news , a bona fida sporting legend ,for me he was the greatest , though Ali’s “ jungle “fight plan was brilliant . To come back and win the title at 45 and take “young peak” greats like Holyfield ,Briggs and Morrison the distance was almost superhuman . Not forgetting he smashed Frasier and Norton who both beat Ali .
RIP

Rest in peace George.
To be a Heavy weight champion is a big achievement, to then become best in the world at food grill products is something else.
Well played sir.

Re: RIP George Foreman
I am fortunately old enough to have seen the likes of Frazier, Mohammed Ali, George Foreman, Lennox Lewis boxing. A golden era of true heavyweight boxing greats

Re: RIP George Foreman
More famous for his grill than his boxing in the end and yet the guy was definitely an extremely good fighter!

If you're still using one of the grills, all I can say is well done for keeping it going so long.
As long as you're not cooking meat on them, it's probably not so bad. Those things are perfect for making meat tough.

Use mine at least once a week, makes a perfect toasted sandwich.
A shame it outlived George.
