Claret Truth is Stranger Than Fiction

I have four adult sons and not one of them has the slightest interest in football although they are well aware of my attachment to Burnley FC and so at my birthday or Christmas they know to buy me something relating to my claret addiction. My house is full of Burnley memorabilia of some sort.
At a recent Birthday I received a card that had written on the front page in large lettering FOOTIE FAN, RUMOUR HAS IT YOUR TEAM ARE GOING TO GO THE REST OF THE SEASON UNBEATEN.
I thought 'at last a birthday card to celebrate Burnley's current season.' Then I realised it could not be accurate as the season has not yest finished .
and Looking at the page inside the cards it read....TALK ABOUT FANTASY FOOTBALL !

So this was meant to be some kind of insult and my son had no idea how accurate it could be.

Hopefully a clear case of fact being stranger than fiction.
