Started yesterday and just couldn't stand the horrendous attempts by Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren to carry off an Irish accent 🫣, gutted because I really fancied it to be a good watch.

Her character is brilliant - sure she's nearly 80 now
Pulling grams of cocaine out her bra haha. Very eccentric, as is Pierce's character

I know he's Irish but his accent is still tripe, her accent is even worse though.

If you did an English accent, where would that be based. Manchester, Scouse, Burnley, Blackburn, Preston, Geordie, Brummie, West Country, Black Country, Mackem, Boro, Stoke, Leeds, Hull, etc, etc.

I'm sure Brosnan's accent has a home somewhere in Ireland. I'll reserve judgement on Mirren's.
