Played into their hands. Gave 14 fouls against us and 8 against them despite their physicality.

Madley was averagely bad. But I thought the assistants on either side didn't help him in the slightest and we're absolutely awful.
A special mention for that awful rule about not flagging till an offside player touches the ball. That one later in the second half he let Yates battle with our defence before flagging was a joke.

Everywhere has that the opposite way round. 14 fouls for them and 8 for us. Didn't feel like that watching it.

Im pretty sure he’s from Ossett not Otley but it’s still West Yorkshire. I have a feeing he’s more of a Huddersfield fan, we don’t seem to have ever had much from his or his brother.

If you also add last night’s draw to their combines statistics, they come out as:
Total games - 23
Burnley Wins - 10
Draws - 6
Burnley Losses - 7
The statistics don’t read too badly, when you consider there are several Premier League games in there as well

Thought he was good, first half. Only missed the foul on Pires? In our LB position that led to a corner and 5mins where we couldn’t get out.
Second half he was poor. Shouldn’t have missed the pen for Flemming being pulled back and if he did his lino should have given it. To many FKs for 50/50 challenges.

From TV thought he had a very good game
It is a man’s game and Derby were no more physical than Burnley

Yes my mistake thanks for that. Misread the stat and hard to get an accurate feel from low down in the away end.
Maybe Madley wasn’t quite as inconsistent as I had thought from watching it live?

Which is a very good reason why John doesn't permit those watching on TV to vote.

The fouls are the other way aren't they with 14 against them and eight against us?

Yes, I’d already thanked aggi above for pointing that out.
The downside of letting those with a bad view on the ground to vote

I was surprised as well when I saw the stat. Felt like he'd not given us many free kicks and given them at least as many if not more.
