From TV-

Trafford- 6
Roberts- 6
CJ- 8
Esteve- 9*
Pires- 7
Cullen- 8
Hannibal- 8
Brownhill- 6
Edwards- 6
Anthony- 7
Flemming- 5

Ecstatic with the win but it was a tough watch in that second half. Playing Tuesday/Friday showed towards the end. Love Flemming but nothing is sticking for him. To be where we are with the lack of killer instinct in this squad is remarkable. All credit to Parker.

From Tv.

Traff- 8 plus one for that claim at the end.
Roberts- 7
Egan Riley- 8
Esteve- 8
Pires-7
Edwards- 7
Brownhill- 6 Looks a bit tired
Cullen- 8 dictated play
Hannibal- 8* first half ran the show, was winning the ball back, finding space, covering ground and also moving it forwards well, showed some tidy little touches that little Cruyff turn back through his legs was lovely and a great touch and finish for the goal.
Anthony- 7
Flemming- 6 battled well but it didn't quite come off

Laurent- 7 immediately went about winning a few challenges
Sarmiento- 7 worried them when he came on, tenacious.

Parker- 9 tactically spot on, brought in Hannibal who's pressing and ground covering stopped Norwich from getting out of there own half for the first 45.

I actually thought it was an excellent performance first half. We dominated them. Second half they tried to take the game to us but I thought ultimately we stood up to it well. We looked a little jaded later on in the game probably from pressing so hard the first.

Dear Scott...that freekick not far outside their box early in second half was a wasteful, baffling piece of absolute dogsh1t. ...just saying.

3 massive points..and a terrific first half...now for Watford.

Was not pretty in the second half, and in previous years we would have lost, butgreat credit to our manager and our defending.

Josh Cullen is in a rich state of form, and Hannibal rose to the ocassion today. Anthony always contributes something-what a signing he is proving. Edwards after a great start seems somewhat subdued in the last 3 games, but four more games for him to get to his best. Its points that now count not playing pretty

Trafford- 7 - didn't have lots to do but did what was necessary well.

Roberts- 7 - very good in the first half but some of his passing wasn't to his usual standard.

Pires - 9 - thought he was our best player, not for the first time recently.

Egan Riley - 7 - got sucked in a few times and I thought he overused the booming right to left ball, particularly from free kicks, but scrambled well when needed.

Esteve - 8 - mopped up superbly.

Cullen- 8 - outstanding until booked with a pass for the ages for the first goal, but had to play a restrained game once walking a tightrope.

Brownhill- 8 - did all the basics really well and instrumental in the second goal.

Hannibal - 8 - took his goal well, might have had another, and generally very effective in the first half. More of a mixed bag after the break but he can be pleased with his nights work.

Edwards - 6 - key to many of out best moments in the first half but faded badly.

Anthony- 7 - another goal although his decision making wasn't always all it might have been.

Flemming- 6 - some nice moments without ever giving us a platform or being a goal threat.

The first half was excellent and everything Parker would want barring a couple if slightly sloppy defensive moments which might have warned us what was to come. The second half never really hit the same heights and iur energy levels dropped noticeably (perhaps a result of 3 games this week) but a few dangerous off the shoulder runs aside we had things largely under control until a goal arrived from nowhere. Thereafter it felt nervy but I'm truth Norwich didn't create another chance and we saw it out pretty comfortably.

A huge win that takes us ever closer to the holy grail.

Trafford 7 - no saves of note but commanded area well and distribution decent
Roberts 6 - gave it away a lot and didn’t link up with Edwards as well as normal
Egan-Riley 7 - a bit nervy and caught on his shoulder a few times, Esteve bailed him out once
Estève 9 - imperious for the best defender in this league
Pires 8 - turning into a very good fullback and is the most improved player since October
Cullen 8 - rash which costs him a mark as lucky not to be sent off, but brilliant control of the game
Brownhill 6 - less effective deeper
Edwards 6 - fairly quiet but wasn’t helped by an off colour Roberts and Flemming not stretching the defence. Surprisingly nobody on the pitch attempted more tackles
Hannibal 8 - very good with his quick feet and could have had two
Anthony 6 - lucky with the goal and busy but didn’t have his best game, all the forwards looked tired
Flemming 6 - held it up OK but seemed a bit one dimensional

In general it was a better performance than one would expect at this stage in a nervy title race. There wasn’t a huge difference, not much panic, a few nerves that’s all. They look like they are enjoying it. A big achievement so far by Parker. Lucky that Norwich contributed to their own downfall but deserved the win.

A week’s rest now which is good, before a big long Easter weekend. A win against Watford and we will be within sight of promotion but it remains tight so the calm minds and happy squad are crucial.

This game was going to be tough on stamina and so it proved. Cruising for 75 minutes, 2 goals up and comfortable but lacking that cutting edge/killer instinct to put the game beyond doubt. Concede a strange sort of goal and try to defend our way to victory which maybe gets the fans on edge more than the players

Pires I thought had his best game for us, but he was still lacking at times. Roberts looks tired. Brownhill was awful yet again. 9/10 one week, 4/10 the next few weeks. Been poor for a number of games now. Zian works hard but needs help. Cullen class, as is esteve and cj.

We need serious, serious improvements if we are to go up and survive. I thought brownhill would cost us a fortune to replace…. The brownhill we’ve seen the last few games could be replaced by absolutely anyone. He was invisible tonite - like playing with ten men.

Brownhill wasn’t at his best, but he set up our second goal with a good intervention.

Everyone knows 2 nil is the trickiest scoreline and we seemed to get caught between going out for more goals and defending what we had when Norwich unexpectedly came out and actually had a go after half time. Really this game should have been well beyond them by then but when all their best hope of changing the game is a bag of daz like Josh Sargent, we were never likely to be really troubled. And so it proved, despite the late goal against. Result is all that matters at this stage.

Trafford 7 little to do but did it all well

Roberts 7 strong first half, less so in the second

Egan-Riley 7 radar for his long crossfield ball to Anthony’s feet was fixed

Estéve 8 Rolls de Royce, nearly a fine goal to boot

Pires 8 excellent tonight bar one suspect moment near the end

Cullen 9 metronome. Another game he’s run from start to finish. His forward passing has become far more prevalent in recent months and the swish over top for Hannibal was perfect.

Brownhill 7 second goal was all about his alertness and quick thinking

Hannibal 7 great run, control and finish to set us on our way. Definitely should have had two, could have had three. Pressed with energy in the 1st half, less so in the second and should probably have been subbed a bit earlier.

Edwards 6 proper mixed bag tonight and another who should probably have been replaced earlier

Anthony 7 he looked absolutely bushed when the entire defence caught up with him late on

Flemming 6 lots of decent touches and he battled despite being crowded out constantly. Wtf was that free kick though? Just have a ping lad!

First half we were boringly good so fair play to Norwich for at least giving us the impression of some jeopardy later on.

Lots of energy from Sarmiento when he came on too. Great first half and thought we would batter them. Had to dig in second half and their tails were up after their unlikely goal.

I don't ordinarily score so to add to one would be biased. Hannibal showed what he can really do tonight. There's proper talent in there. Also, Parker and the team deserve huge credit for the progress Pires has made. Defensively, he has really improved.

Roberts five games ago was bang on it. I think he's carrying a knock. The last couple, he's not been moving well.

Trafford 7 (Nothing much to do bar picking the ball out of the net and catching a few decent crosses, one of which in the last couple of minutes was crucial tbf)
Roberts 7
CJER 9
Esteve 8
Pires 8 (I've never thought he was rubbish like some, but I'd always pick a fit Humphreys ahead of him - just! However, he's really grabbing his chance and growing into the shirt!)
Cullen 7
Brownhill 7
Hannibal 8 (Excellent first half and excellent goal and really should have scored another)
Anthony 7
Edwards 5
Flemming 6

Laurent 6
Sarmiento 6

We were excellent first half and Norwich couldn't live with us. We really should have scored more than the 2 goals before half time, but second half was a different story and whilst we still had our moments, Norwich gained a foothold into the game and eventually that led to their goal and then an extremely nervy 15 minutes!! Under Kompany when we went up it ALMOST became boring at times because we were so "superior", but watching this team always feels like it will never be so comfortable it becomes boring! Getting the win was the main thing as the pressure is all on those playing tomorrow now.

Trafford 7 - Not really tested, but good with his feet and the claim at the end was epic.

Roberts 6 - Looked a bit tired, but sound defensively.

Pires 7 - Another assured game from him.

Esteve 8 - As good as ever.

Egan-Riley 7 - Solid again.

Cullen 8 - Kept us moving and coped well with the movement of Norwich’s technical midfielders. Great ball for the first.

Brownhill 6 - The kind of performance we get from him when he’s not the most advanced of the 3 midfielders. Did ok.

Hannibal 7 - Great first half and a fantastic goal. Faded second half.

Anthony 6 - Extra mark for the goal. Looked tired.

Edwards 5 - Also looked tired.

Flemming 6 - Competed well, but looked tired and couldn’t quite get the ball out of his feet at key moments.

Norwich might rue their negative set up first half. They looked pretty decent second half against our tiring players. All of that said, we were excellent first half and despite Norwich pulling a goal back, we never really looked like conceding a second.

The result is all that matters tonight.

Did enough to win and that’s good enough for me, but please can we occasionally not fart around with our corners and surprise the opposition. Thank you

Dear Scott...that freekick not far outside their box early in second half was a wasteful, baffling piece of absolute dogsh1t. ...just saying.

3 massive points..and a terrific first half...now for Watford.
That set the tone for the 2nd half - especially with Flemming’s ability. It was virtually in the same spot where West Brom scored from. Still - 3 points is all that counts

Flemming 6 - held it up OK but seemed a bit one dimensional

I really wasnt seeing that. Everything just bounced away from him, and to be honest, I've rarely seen a player with such a poor first touch.

His continual physical tussles with the opposing centre backs end up with neither the ball or a free kick.

I'm at a bit of a loss to see what he is right now.

3 games in 6 days, the second half last night was understandable, especially given the sheer intensity we pressed with in the first half. Once again, Norwich actually didn’t create a single opening after they’d scored. The spirit and mentality is outstanding.

Roberts 6 Wasn't moving as fluently as usual. Not much cover from Edwards.
CJ 7 Is he carrying a knock? Looked slightly off the pace tonight.
Esteve 8 Imperious.
Pires 7 Most improved player.
Cullen 8 Super pass for goal.
Hannibal 8 MOM Super goal.
Brownhill 6 With Hannibal further upfield he seems to be struggling with a deeper role. Not sure it works TBH.
Edwards 6 Not that effective tonight.
Anthony 7 Super 1st half but faded 2nd.
Flemming 7 Battled well but not really suited to that role as target man.

It was the result that mattered and well done to the lads.
Special mention to the 12th man, the fans. Great atmosphere this evening.

Pires lacking? Brownhill awful? You obviously didn't watch the game.
