I'm genuinely baffled at the point of resurrecting a thread which had mainly fair and representation descriptions (and of course some completely loony ones) in January on the back of a lot of inconsistent and hard to watch games. All to basically poke fun and say "I told you so"? at some individuals. Really?
There were multiple threads filled with negativity - oh and that sort of stuff and those emotions, when present in the stands, absolutely does transfer to the players.

Considering where we were just before Sunderland away, there should have been nothing but overwhelming positivity trying to get behind the lads and our gaffer, but it was anything but that.

Absolutely this, that poor attitude did seep through to the players earlier this season.

Interesting that Parker talks about “The Journey” post-match Norwich. He’s also talked about how the strong togetherness that the squad/coaches/manager/club has had really been a differentiator. The fans needed to take that onboard earlier in the season.

I’m more worried about how this might play out in the Premier League if we go up!

When you consider that players like Brownhill made comments about the fans and asked for patience I think it's entirely possible that the nervy atmosphere played a part. It's also backed up with the fact that for a long period we were better away from home than at it.
