Re: Eddie Howe in hospital
I saw something on SSN that he was unwell and would miss tomorrow’s game but reading now it looks more serious. All the best to him.

It can't be good if he's missing a game for it. He's football obsessed.

Just seen this, get well soon time to take a step away from football management if it's affecting your health the pressure on these guys to succeed is off the scale.

Yeah, I saw an interview he did with Gary Neville a while ago.. he is someone who's thinking about work and pressure 24/7. Catches up with everyone that eventually, hope he's ok.Vincent'sCap wrote: ↑Sun Apr 13, 2025 11:29 amJust seen this, get well soon time to take a step away from football management if it's affecting your health the pressure on these guys to succeed is off the scale.

Pneumonia can be very serious but in the vast majority of cases the medics find the right blend of antibiotics to conquer it.
I hope to see Eddie out and about soon.

Re: Eddie Howe in hospital
I was hospitalised with pneumonia 5 years ago. It just floors you. It took me 8 days to get well enough to leave hospital then a couple of months to get my strength back. So maybe he’s off for the season.

Same here Longsider. 12 days in hospital and 3 months recovery. It's a truly horrible condition. I hope Eddie fights back to full strength.TheOriginalLongsider wrote: ↑Mon Apr 14, 2025 7:49 pmI was hospitalised with pneumonia 5 years ago. It just floors you. Re: Eddie Howe in hospital
I've just recently had a vaccination for pneumonia, I think it was for bacterial and doesn't prevent viral.
I hope Eddie gets better soon.

Now missing Mags next two matches. Tough when they are gunning for CL.
Best wishes to him for a speedy and full recovery.

Re: Eddie Howe in hospital
likely just for pneumococcus not other bacteria. Flu and Covid vaccines reduce the risks of lung infections from these viruses.
Pneumavax free to over 65's and protects against multiple strains of pneumococcus.
Also given to anyone missing a spleen.

Having just had pneumonia I know it’s horrible, hospital is the best place for recovery.
