Re: Match thread v Watford
I’d be taking Flamming off now he’s on yellow
Know nothing in that incident in area then but Watford will be looking to make most out of any contact from him

Watch them try to get ZF sent off. We know what is coming.

I agree with this.CrosspoolClarets wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 4:32 pmEdwards been good for me. Very busy, loads of fouls. More touches and passes than any ahead of Cullen.
He gets stick but that’s because he’s on the ball so much that he inevitably makes the odd bad decision/over hits the pass etc. I’d rather my wingers be like him and Anthony in that they’re both in a game 100% as opposed to a 1 in 5 mercurial type. Good team player.
Re: Match thread v Watford
That ball back across from Hannibal for the second goal is really good.

Think their game plan was to kick us off the park today, but they should have realised this Ref was giving everything right from the start of the match, and then should have reigned it in when the yellows started flying.

Re: Match thread v Watford
I’m watching on a dodgy stream with Watford biased commentary and there’s some cockney sounding wide boy co-commentator who is absolutely clueless.
Both reds were wrong, Flemming should be off etc. etc.
******* clown.

Last time I saw a team lose it like this was BHA at Turf Moor when we were singing to Gus Poyet "Your teams a disgrace"JimmyRobbo wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 4:37 pmWatch them try to get ZF sent off. We know what is coming.

That was exactly my take in the proceedings. Experienced heads lacking with their bullying tactics.SurreyClaret wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 4:39 pmThink their game plan was to kick us off the park today, but they should have realised this Ref was giving everything right from the start of the match, and then should have reigned it in when the yellows started flying.
Game isn't over, yet. They still have strength and energy.

Re: Match thread v Watford
In the first half hour, he was really awful. Lost the ball needlessly many times. Much better second half, but still well within himself. He has more in the locker than he's showing atm.jedi_master wrote: ↑Fri Apr 18, 2025 4:37 pmI agree with this.

It must be difficult for Watford with 9 men and one of them is a Louza.

BBC Three Counties radio.
Russ Bray sounding pillock. Says it makes sense to him how we’ve played considering we’ve now brought Ashley Barnes on.

Again, why has that idiot just shoved hiim over? Watford have been absolutely dumb.
On comes Bashley. Could be a fun cameo.
We need to remain composed and pass to feet.

We need to be careful.
They have power, strength and energy. They could easily break away if we're sloppy.
