Aaron Ramsey

Post by leelad » Sat Apr 26, 2025 6:25 pm

Was pleased to see Aaron Ramsey come on as sub in the final stages of today’s game. Do you think he will help us in midfield in the Prem next season? Hopefully so if he has a good pre season. UTC.

Definitely he’s a pl quality youngster. The reception we gave him today just added to the beam on his face. I had forgotten that he’s reasonably tall, towered over the ginger lad he was up against.

Great to see him back

Yes. He looked good last season when playing centrally - Man Utd home and Spurs away in the cup immediately spring to mind. He looked less of a good player when out wide and made some big errors giving the ball away cheaply.

I just hope he’s fully recovered from his injury now. It’s been 14 months out.

Looked strong and didn’t flinch in a couple of hefty challenges

Great to see him back today. Seems like a cracking lad & well liked member of the squad.

Not sure how much truth is in it but a Villa supporting friend of mine said he was only sold by them for PSR reasons.
