I'd place pragmatism, and the ability to adapt to circumstances, way above being inflexible.Quickenthetempo wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 1:52 pmHe probably believes he is always right, which any successful business owner would have to.

I do get the impression that some of the ten Bob millionaires that live in Read will look down on him with how he dresses.Inchy wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 4:08 pmThat’s your observation at the cricket. But others will see a man strutting around the boundary, surveying the minions amongst him. Acknowledging them with a “alright” whilst internally reminding himself how much better her is than them. Wearing working man’s clothes to appear like the working man. A wolf in sheep’s clothing

Doesn't surprise me now. When I was younger there was more B*stard fans in Accrington. As they were the PL team with more recent success, while we were struggling in League One then the Championship.mybloodisclaret wrote: ↑Wed May 07, 2025 10:26 amNowhere near 50/50. More Clarets than anyone else in Accy now.
For over a decade we've had more success and PL football. They tend to lean to support the most popular/successful local side to follow.
Like most neutral towns, they're all glory grabbers
