Away fans on the side, didn’t we used to be behind that net that Orient scored into, I’m sure that’s where the bricks & stones came flying into

In another Play off game Oldham 3 up on Halifax after 12 mins. All reported on Sky text as headers from the centre of the box to the centre of the goal. I can’t wait to see this midget defence.

Can't believe it's over 20 years since we've played there.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 8:33 pmWe were on the side the last time we played there but that’s 23 years ago
We seemed to go through a spell at one time, of playing them every other week!

I can't recall a Burnley keeper picking up a back pass since the law was changed 30 odd years ago. Anyone done it?

Think Burnley fans have been in all 4 sides of the ground at different points (but like Preston. Certainly remember being behind both goals and in the stand opposite the cameras in different games. I missed the game last time we played them.ClaretTony wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 8:33 pmWe were on the side the last time we played there but that’s 23 years ago
Re: Stockport v Leyton Orient
Same as last night with the Wright miss at the end. Wonder if Orient will score with the last kick

Re: Stockport v Leyton Orient
Higher-placed team in the league? If the lower-placed team can't beat the other side after ET in the return leg then they don't deserve it over 210 mins & 48 games effectively.Vegas Claret wrote: ↑Wed May 14, 2025 10:42 pmI still think pens are a stupid way to decide a seasons work

Re: Stockport v Leyton Orient
it's a team game and a tactical one, I'd rather the managers have to make decisions and take players off every 5 mins. That way they have to take everything into consideration as they do during the entire season.
Is what it is, just not a good way imho

Re: Stockport v Leyton Orient
Pleased for Leyton Orient. They showed class and dignity at Turf Moor back in 1987. Something you can't say about tonight's opponents.

Re: Stockport v Leyton Orient
stockport robbed by officiating in first leg, huge points gap over orient in final league position.
orient mean nothing to me.

Re: Stockport v Leyton Orient
We always want our 'fierce rivals' to fail so I am more than happy with the result.
